With the intention to extend the sustainability and quality of our products, we chose to become a partner of the independent organization Café de Colombia® as we cherish their efforts and values. Since 1984, Café de Colombia® has been dedicated in growing the finest Colombian coffee beans while protecting the fairness of local coffee farmers and communities.
We appreciate the efforts of magnificent individuals in cultivating our finest Guatemalan coffee beans. Without them, it would be virtually impossible for us to present you with the GILU standard products. Therefore, we proudly participate in the Fairtrade® in order to protect the rights, wellbeing and fairness of local communities associate with the coffee industry.
Decent climate, abundant sunshine, satisfactory precipitation, fertile soils. It is the harmony of nature that made the GILU excellence possible, and we are committed to protecting this harmony with our best strength. We are neutralizing all possible impacts from us with our best strength. And we estimated by 2025, GILU will be landfill-waste-neutral.

At GILU, we recognize the journey of crafting excellence begins from its very origin. And that is why we value the origin of our products in our manner. We only chose premium coffee species from the finest high-elevation producing regions, where nature does the magnificent work and bestows the natural advantage to our beans. After extracted from hand-picked fresh cherry, sun-dried and decrustation, raw beans will be examined carefully to eradicate any deteriorated and blemished individuals to further ensure the quality of our products. With our elaborate quality control protocols, potential flaws are maximally eliminated during the early stages. Others may think it's unnecessary, we think it's essential.
Roasting, this is where the innate fragrances of coffee beans awake. Our roasting masters recognize each characteristic of our premium coffee beans and are versed in the right heat and time. With the state of the art equipment, the optimum caramelization and Maillard reaction triggers precisely on the right point. Unleashing hundreds of charming scents.
